Having spent every dime they had on another pet’s emergency just a month ago, Rags’ owners had no money left to go to the vet and find out why he seemed to be in pain.

Left feeling there was no other options, Rags & his owner came to one of the High Desert animal shelters to have Rags euthanized. After the shelter staff decided Rags didn’t display any signs the owner mentioned was occurring and could not euthanize him, You’re Not Forgotten stepped in and paid for an office exam at a local vet. The owner was so thankful and so happy to find out it was only a pinched nerve in his back, which seemed to have worked itself out and Rags… was fine now! This is what we want… a happy ending! Rags still has a lot of years of love to share with his family and we were happy to help him and his family out!
